First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union has announced that Old Rochester Regional student Patrick Briand of Mattapoisett is one of 14 high school students to receive a $1,000 scholarship through its 24th Annual Academic Scholarship Program.

Scholarships are awarded to students who have bank branches in their communities and who demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and service to their community.
