The Friends of Plumb Library is holding a scarecrow decorating
contest in October.

Any community group, youth organization, neighborhood group, family, or
individual may enter. Entry forms are available at the library or may be printed from the library's website at http://www.plumblibrary.com.

The entry fee is $10. Registration form and
fee must be returned to the library by Oct. 15. Scarecrows will be set up between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22. Visitors to the library will be able to vote for their favorite by donating a nonperishable food item to Damien's Pantry, or $1 to the Friends.
