MATTAPOISETT — On Monday, June 17, local poets are invited to gather and share their work at “Poetry in the Park”, hosted by Mattapoisett Land Trust.

The event will start at 10 a.m. in Dunseith Gardens, home to Salty the Seahorse. Poets that will be in attendance include Margot Wizansky, Ellen Flynn, Elizabeth Syliva and Vivian Eyre.

Are you a poet interested in sharing your work? After the poets have presented, there will be time for others to share. Sharing is not required.

There are five additional slots available for attendees to share their work. Reach out to Mattapoisett Land Trust Manager, Colleen Andrews, and request a time slot at manager@mattlandtrust.org.

Poems must be kept to 1-page or less than 10 minutes.

Bring a picnic blanket, folding chair, or something to sit on. Light refreshments will be provided. Parking is available in the lot at Dunseith Gardens accessible from Route 6.
