Prepare for emergencies with the Marion Council on Aging

Jan 13, 2023

MARION — This winter is the perfect time to think about and prepare for emergencies and disasters throughout the year.

Do you require assistance in an emergency situation? The Marion Council on Aging and the Community Emergency Response team can help. The council on aging invites residents to have a discussion to prepare an emergency plan.

If a resident: relies on medical equipment that requires electricity, requires transportation to a shelter, lives in a known flood zone, has a communication related disability, takes medication, or is in need of any other emergency assistance call the Marion Council on Aging at 508-748-3570. The council can compile necessary information and pass it on to Marion’s Community Emergency Response Team.

Family members of Marion residents who live out of town, can sign up for e-alerts from the Town of Marion at marionma.gov/subscribe.
