Ralph P. Faria, 68, of Carver, died September 29, at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. He was the former husband of Patricia R. Faria.

Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Manuel & Irene (Roy) Faria. A longtime resident of South Carver, he worked as a laborer in the construction industry. Mr. Faria was a member of Tunnel Workers Union Local 88 in Quincy.

He is survived by two daughters, Debra L. Faria of Cambridge and Kelly Ann Faria of New Bedford; his brother, Lawrence Roy of Rochester; three sisters, Brenda Faria of Acushnet, Carol Pendleton of New Bedford and Charlotte Cormier of Mattapoisett; his grandchildren, Shatia Faria, Casey Faria, Mark Anthony Faria, Kaysha Faria, and Kylee Butler. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
