MATTAPOISETT — New England’s most harrowing maritime disaster is taking the spotlight at Mattapoisett Free Public Library’s “Larchmont Remembered” on Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 6 p.m to 7 p.m located at 7 Barstow Street.

Never-before-seen photographs of the disastrous collision of the Larchmont and the Harry P Knowlton will be unveiled at the event alongside eyewitness accounts, all presented by Providence Journal columnist Daniel Harrington.

No registration is required and the event is free to the public.
