Recycle with the Mattapoisett Lions Club

MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Lions Club, Inc will host an Electronics and Household Appliance Recycling event on Oct. 17. next to the Bowl-Mor Bowling Alley, 22 County Road from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Pick-ups considered for seniors and disabled citizens. For more information contact Lion Bob Saunders at 508-758-4675. 

The following can be large items can be recycled: TV’s: $35.00 donation each; CRT Tube Computer Monitors: $30.00 each; Laptops, computers, and flat-screen monitors: $20.00 each 

For electronic, household, metal items, maximum $45.00 per car load. Electronic items for $5.00 or $10.00 donation each: Cell & landline phones, computer parts/accessories, keyboards, computer mice, speakers, video games/systems, camera/video/audio equipment, fax, copy, printer machines, amplifiers, pre-amps, set top tv boxes, scanners, shredders, wires, plugs, drives, memory cards, etc. 

Large household items, $10.00 donation each: Refrigerators, freezers, water heaters, stoves, ranges, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers. 

Small household Items, $5.00 donation each: Microwave ovens, toaster ovens, toasters, coffee makers, irons, hair dryers, electric can openers, blenders, mixers, etc.

Metal Items, $5.00 donation each: Metal items less than 8 feet long include metal poles and metal desks, grills (no propane tanks), pots, pans, etc.

Donations to Lions Club, Inc. are tax deductible as may be allowed by law. Mattapoisett Lions Club, Inc. is a 501(c)3 IRS-approved public charity.
