Refresh with the Seven Principles of Design

MARION — For many, it’s natural to desire a fresh start in the New Year. 

That’s why the Sippican Woman’s Club has invited Bethany Gardner, an interior designer, artist and owner of the Home Studio at the Ropewalk in Mattapoisett, to its Friday, Jan. 10 meeting at Handy’s Tavern, located at 152 Front Street in Marion.

At the meeting, Gardner will share how she uses the Seven Principles of Interior Design, which are the factors considered when assisting a client in redoing their home or even just selecting a color palate.

The Club’s membership is open to any women whose primary interests are in the Town of Marion. However, meetings are open to guests.  

The Club traditionally meets on the second Friday of the month during the months of September through April at 12:30 pm for social time, accompanied by finger foods, followed by a business meeting at 1:00 pm. Then, around 1:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. the speaker or program will generally start.
