Register now for the Kids’ Clay Studio program

MARION — From Feb. 13 through March 27 the Marion Art Center will hold a Kids’ Clay Studio program for kids ages 8 to 11. The event will be held on Thursdays from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Marion Art Center at 80 Pleasant Street, Marion.

Students will learn the basics of clay hand-building techniques with slabs, coils, pinching and texture to create 3D animals, pots, ornaments and sculptures

All materials and firing will be included in the program, and the clay work will be kiln fired, decorated and made to last.

The program costs $175 for Marion Art Center members and $205 for non-members.
