Mar 23, 2022

MARION — Registration has begun for the Marion Natural History Museum’s summer program.

The summer activities will feature exploration of rocky intertidal shorelines, salt marshes, estuaries,  freshwater river banks, swamps, ponds, forests and bogs. Participants will explore the different ecosystems and take a close-up look at the birds, amphibians, fish and invertebrates of the area.

Sizes of programs are limited to keep the groups small.

The theme is Coastal Explorations. The program is open to children in grades three to five and meets from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday. July session dates are July 11 to 15. August session dates are Aug. 1 to 5.

A second week may be available upon request.

Cost is $250 for members and $300 for non-members.
