Volleyball skills sessions

Mattapoisett Recreation and Wheaton College Head Volleyball Coach Craig Letourneau will host an introductory skills clinic for children in grades five to eight. The program will be based on learning and growing basic skills of the game as well as game play. This eight-week program is on Wednesdays from 4-5 p.m. and starts Nov. 30. Registration is due by Nov. 25.

Basketball program

The last day to sign up for the junior high co-ed basketball program is Nov. 11. This program is open to all junior high students. Placement/evaluation night is Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Center School gym in Mattapoisett. Players can also sign up at placement night.

Fencing

A new session of fencing will begin on Monday, Dec. 5. Instructors from Blackstone Valley Fencing will lead the six-week session. Classes are Mondays at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Center School gym. Registration is due by Dec. 1.
