Regular programs resume at Rochester Senior Center

ROCHESTER — After months of being cancelled due to coronavirus, the Rochester Senior Center has resumed the following programs:

Stepping and Stretching on Mondays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m., French Culture and Conversation on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m., Coffee and Conversation Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:00 a.m., Line Dancing on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 a.m., and health appointments with the Town Nurse by appointment.  

Activities strictly follow covid guidelines and are held outdoors when possible.  Face coverings that cover the nose and mouth must be worn when indoors and when social distancing is not possible outdoors.

On Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Rochester Senior Center is offering hairdressing appointments with Lynne by appointment only.  Call for details.

The senior center will be closed on Monday, Oct. 12 in observance of Columbus Day.

The senior center provides free transportation for Rochester residents.  Call for a ride with one of with one of the center’s friendly drivers at least 24 hours in advance for scheduling purposes.
