Beginning at 9 a.m. members of the Friends will greet the public and other trail organizations at the Goodspeed Island turnaround.

“This thirty year effort to connect the center of Fairhaven with Mattapoisett village is now complete,” wrote 10th Bristol Representative Bill Straus (D-Mattapoisett). “I'm proud to have played a role and helped whenever I could.”
