Rochester businesses pass liquor checks
Oct 20, 2015
Rochester Police Chief Paul Magee praised local liquor merchants for passing recent compliance checks.
Police sent a 19-year-old to the five businesses in town possessing liquor licenses to purchase alcohol. At each business, the minor was turned away after failing to produce proper identification.
“A number of years back we had trouble with this issue,” Magee told Selectmen on Monday night. “Kudos to these business owners for being responsible and doing their part to keep alcohol out of the hands of minors.”
