Rochester Council on Aging honors graduates with video

ROCHESTER — High school seniors in Rochester won’t be able to celebrate their graduation in June, so the seniors of the town’s Council on Aging released a video that pays tribute to the class.

Different members of the council’s board of directors gave words of encouragement to the graduates and read aloud all the names of all the students.

“We want kids to know that we’re thinking about them,” said council President Mike Cambra.

The idea for the video came from a suggestion by board member Woody Hartley at the council’s last meeting. Members recorded their parts on a Zoom call, and ORCTV edited it together.
