Rochester Council on Aging hopes to raise money with Psychic Fair

The Rochester Council on Aging hopes fortune-tellers can see an addition to their building in the future.

On Saturday, October 27, the Council on Aging will host its first Psychic Fair to raise funds for the addition.

“I stole the idea from one of my colleagues,” said Director Sharon Lally. “There have been two or three COAs that have done it in the past.”

Psychic readers from Cape Cod and across the state are expected to come.

Lally said entrance to the fair is $2 and readings are $20 each.

She stressed that the event is not related to Halloween.

For those who want to support the center without peering into a crystal ball, Lally said there will also be refreshments for sale all day, including soups and sandwiches for lunch.

Vendors will also sell items.

The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
