Rochester Cultural Council announces 2024 grant recipients

ROCHESTER — The Rochester Cultural Council will award $6,470 in grant funding to 17 different projects in 2024, the group announced in a press release.

According to the Rochester Cultural Council, grants were awarded in the categories of arts, science and humanities and emphasis was placed on funding programs that benefit Rochester residents.

The recipients of the grants are Acushnet Public Library, Cara Bean, East Over Farms, Friends of Old Rochester Drama, Friends of Old Rochester Music, Lewis-Parks and Andrew, Marion Art Center, Old Colony Parent Teacher Organization, Onset Bay Association, Practice Best Practice, Rochester Historical Society, Rochester Memorial School Parent Teacher Organization, Sippican Choral Society, South Coast Children’s Chorus, South Coast Children’s Theatre, Tri-County Music Association and Jon Waterman.
