Rochester Historical Museum opens its doors by appointment

Mar 27, 2023

ROCHESTER —  Looking for a dose of local history? The Rochester Historical Museum at the East Rochester Congregational Church, 355 County Road, is now opening by appointment.

Take a tour of a 19th century church that is on the National Register of Historic Places, or visit the museum’s shop and pick up Rochester-themed merchandise like books, maps, hats and clothing.

The Rochester Historical Museum is always open on the third Wednesday of the month for monthly programs at 7 p.m.  The Museum’s first talk of the season will be held on April 19. Connie Eshbach will discuss Rochester’s many past celebrations. The talk will be followed by refreshments and a chance to catch up and chat with other patrons.
