ROCHESTER — There’s an evergreen tree in the corner, but it’s decorated in skeletons, pumpkins, fall leaves and purple witches’ hats.
A hundred little kids are on the dance floor in a dizzying medley of different costumes. Welcome to Oct 26, the night where Rochester Memorial School turns a school dance into a chance to dress up even before Halloween.
Though the event was billed as a dance, and there was plenty of loud music, it also had a costume contest, yummy treats, games for the children and even a book fair.
