Rochester Police Chief Paul Magee receives FBI training honor

Aug 14, 2012

This fall, Rochester Police Chief Paul Magee will take part in an "elite" training program for local officials at the FBI National Academy.

Located in Quantico, Virginia, the Academy provides an eight to ten-week session of intense law enforcement training to only 250 officials in the state.

Magee said he decided to apply for the program after hearing feedback from other local law officials.

“Everyone said it was one of the best things they had done in their careers,” Magee said. “It’s really a fabulous opportunity.”

Town Administrator Richard LaCamera informed the Selectmen on Monday night that Magee was recently nominated to attend.

"It's quite an honor to be nominated," LaCamera said offering his congratulations to the Chief.
