ROCHESTER — Former part-time officer with the Rochester Police Department, Michelle Donovan is now a full-time officer.

Police Chief Robert Small appeared before the Board of Selectmen on Nov. 4 to ask that Donovan be promoted.

He explained that she put herself through police academy, and has been working with the department since Nov. 5 of last year.

Small commended Donovan for working will with other officers, and for her positive interactions with the public.

Selectmen unanimously approved the appointment.
