ROCHESTER — Rochester resident Krystina Savaria has been chosen by Travel Weekly to participate in the Select Travel Advisor Recognition Program during the annual CruiseWorld event in November.

According to a press release, Select Travel Advisor Recognition participants must meet strict qualifying criteria and demonstrate what it means to be a qualified professional in the travel industry.

CruiseWorld is an event that brings together approximately 800 travel industry professionals to participate in certification programs, attend keynote speeches by c-level industry executives, and take part in immersive educational and networking experiences.

The Select Travel Advisor Recognition Program works to curate a group of the most dedicated and professional travel advisors in the industry through an application and review process that involves reference checks and an evaluation of current business practices.

“I am delighted to have been selected as a [Select Travel Advisor Recognition] participant once again and I look forward to another great CruiseWorld in November,” said Savaria. “Having the opportunity to connect face to face with some of the best suppliers and representatives of destinations worldwide helps my knowledge of this business continue to grow. By attending this event, my clients gain in my expertise and my relationships within the travel industry.”

At CruiseWorld, Savaria will have the opportunity to attend keynote speeches on the state of the industry by top cruise line executives.

“Those selected for the [Select Travel Advisor Recognition] Program are incredibly passionate and motivated about this industry,” said Alicia Evanko-Lewis, Executive Vice President, Travel Group Global Events for Northstar Travel Group. “Our team carefully vets all applicants to ensure that all [Select Travel Advisor Recognition] participants are dedicated to their business and providing their clients with the best possible service.”
