Rochester Select Board approves town administrator job description
ROCHESTER — The Rochester Select Board approved an updated job description for the open town administrator position on Thursday, June 6.
According to Select Board chair and member of the town administrator search committee Brad Morse, the town will accept applications for the position until July 8.
After July 8, the search committee will start the process of narrowing down candidates for the position.
The updated job description will be posted on the town’s website in the coming days.
The search committee for the town administrator position finalized the job description at a meeting on Wednesday, June 5.
“We want to make sure that the expectations of the new person coming in are clear,” said Select Board member Adam Murphy.
Former town administrator Suzanne Szyndlar is currently filling in as the interim town administrator after Glenn Cannon resigned on May 13.
