ROCHESTER — The Lions Club is hosting a Touch a Truck event on Oct. 12 to benefit the Rochester Fire Department and Junior Firefighters. 

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. children and families will have a chance to see trucks, boats and heavy equipment, play games, get balloon animals and go in a bounce house at the Rochester Country Fairgrounds. 

Food and drinks will also be available for purchase. Admission is $7 per purchase or $20 per family. Children under 12 are free.
