ROCHESTER — Rochester Town Administrator Suzanne Szyndlar will not seek to renew her contract when it expires next summer, she announced at a Sept. 20 Board of Selectmen meeting.

“It has truly been an honor to serve the town of Rochester for the last six years,” she said. “I have loved my job but it’s time for me to go to my next chapter in life.”

Szyndlar will continue as the Town Administrator until her contract expires on June 30, 2022.

All three members of the Board expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Szyndlar for her service to the Town of Rochester and wished her well in her future endeavors.

“Thank you very much Suzanne,” said Selectman Bradford Morse. “And thank you for giving us so much time to search [for a new administrator].”
