Scholars recognized for MCAS scores

There were 41 Old Rochester Regional High School students who earned a John and Abigail Adams Scholarship. The award gives qualified students a tuition waiver for undergraduate courses at Massachusetts state-funded colleges and universities.
To qualify for the scholarship, students on the grade 10 MCAS test (first attempt) must score a proficient or better in the English and mathematics sections, with at least one advanced score. Also, the combined score for English and math must place a student in the top 25 percent of students in the graduating class.
