Sea-ing ocean worlds: Marion Natural History Museum to host oceanography event

MARION — Voyage into the solar system and discover the wide world of oceans beyond Earth at the Marion Natural History Museum’s Annual Meeting on Friday, May 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Chris German of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute will lead a talk discussing the discovery of ocean worlds among the moons of Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus.

The senior scientist will also discuss insights from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute that are shaping NASA’s strategies to explore for life on future missions.
