On Tuesday night, Selectmen discussed hiring a lawyer to negotiate with Comcast cable company as well as entering into negotiations jointly with Rochester.

The towns’ licenses with Comcast expire in December 2015.

The town is considering attorney William Hewig of Kopelman and Paige law firm who specializes in cable company negotiations.

“I think we got to give it a shot,” said Town Administrator Mike Gagne.
