Self-defense class May 10

Mattapoisett Recreation is hosting a self-defense technique class on May 10 from 6-9 p.m. at Center School.
The class is called F.A.S.T.T. E.S.C.A.P.E. which stands for fast aggressive strikes targeting trauma, every secound counts, avoid pre-attack encounter.
This training session was developed by Maj. Dwayne Fortes. The course is free, courtesy of Sheriff Joseph McDonald and the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department.
The program is open to women 14 and older. To sign up, email mattrec@mattapoisett.net. Provide the name, contact number and email address for each person wishing to participate. Space is limited and spots are first come, first served.
