She returns!: The Marion Art Center welcomes back Aimee Bayles
MARION — The stage at the Marion Art Center will see the return of Aimee Bayles Friday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m.
Aimee Bayles is a singer-songwriter and recording artist based in New York City. Originally from
Virginia, her vocally driven music is inspired by southern churches, her training as an opera singer and learning folk guitar from her father.
Her influences include Patty Griffin, Gillian Welch, Neil Young, Norah Jones, Dolly Parton and Alison Krauss.
She will be accompanied by Tristan Clark and Rob Ritchie during her performance.
Tickets are $20 for Marion Art Center members, $25 for nonmembers and are available for purchase at marionartcenter.org/music. Seating is general admission and is on a first come first serve basis. Audience members can bring their own beverages to the show.
