Showing appreciation for teachers

MARION — Though teachers may not be in the classroom the Volunteers at Sippican Elementary, the school’s non-profit and Parent Teacher Organization, made sure that they still felt the love, virtually, for Teacher Appreciation Week.
The volunteer organization compiled a video of all of the school’s administrators and teachers, many with their families, set to the Judds’ “Love Can Build a Bridge.”
The final screen read “thank you for helping us grow.”
VASE President April Rios spoke a little more to explain the organization’s effort.
“As parents, we are indebted to their hard work and love for our children and helping get them through these unprecedented times. To say that they have and are going above and beyond would be an understatement. As a parent of a fourth grader at Sippican, I can speak first hand to that personally,” she said.
