Silvershell Beach will officially open on Monday, June 20 at 9 a.m. Residents of Marion and Rochester can purchase beach access stickers from their respective town halls. Daily passes for non-residents are available at the gate for $10.

Guards will staff Silvershell Beach seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until late summer.

In conjunction with this opening, Marion Recreation will also host it annual Opening Week Beach Party on Saturday, June 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a free cookout with hot dogs, drinks and chips.
