Sippican Lands Trust happenings in March

Mar 1, 2021

MARION — From story walks to St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, the Sippican Lands Trust is providing multiple opportunities for community members to walk — or March — their way into spring.

From now until May 3, the Lands Trust is offering a new story walk at Brainard Marsh. "Water is Water" by Miranda Paul is a book about the Water Cycle which tells of the different phases of water, including rain, mist, snow and fog. Visit Brainard Marsh to read along and find out what happens!

At 10 a.m. n St. Patrick’s day, the trust is hosting a walk at Hagemann Woods. St. Patrick’s day attire is strongly encouraged.

The Lands Trust is also continuing its Winter Walks into the Spring. The first Spring Walk will be at 9 a.m. on March 28 at the White Eagle Property.

Space at all of the Lands Trust’s events is limited due to covid. Email info@sippicanlandstrust.org to save yourself a spot.

The trust is also looking for donations and items to support its stewardship efforts this year. To donate, view the Lands Trust’s wishlist at https://sippicanlandstrust.org/wish-list/ and email info@sippicanlandstrust.org.
