Sippican School Band Blast has Caribbean vibe

Sippican students make a splash at the Caribbean-themed Band Blast. BY GEORGIA SPARLING
The annual Sippican School Band Blast, which raises money for the music program, took over the school's lawn on Tuesday evening. The Caribbean-themed event featured island-inspired games, a dunk tank, crepes made on the spot and a steel band.
The school's musicians also played, with pieces ranging from Star Wars to "Tequila," which was revamped to "Root Beer."
