The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Rita’s Parish will sponsor an Italian spaghetti and meatball dinner and social Saturday, Oct. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. The dinner will be held in the VFW Post 2425 in Marion. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12. Alcohol will be available for an additional charge. There will be a door prize and raffle. St. Rita’s St. Vincent De Paul Society provides assistance to those in need on a non-sectarian basis. The society helps area families by providing food boxes at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, assistance with utility, housing and medical bills and other support. One hundred percent of funds raised go to those in need.
