Special speakers and storytellers at Plumb Library

ROCHESTER — Need something to do? Spots are available for March events at the Plumb Library for both adult and youth programs. 

Saturday, March 15, at 12:30 p.m. local author Alfred Saulniers will be presenting his new book “The French of New Bedford, the Early Years.” 

Marty Gitlin will be readying guests for the Boston Red Sox opening day with his “Ultimate Presentation for Red Sox Nation” talk on Saturday, March 29 at  12:30 p.m. The event will feature fun facts, trivia, history, and all things baseball. 

Both events will be held in the Downstairs Program Room, those interested can register at www.plumblibrary.com

Storytime with Grandma Gail will be held weekly every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m starting March 18 until April 15. Retired Library Director Gail Roberts runs the program designed for preschool age children. Activities will consist of stories, songs, finger plays, puppets, crafts and a snack. Registration is required.
