Today is the state primary election. All registered voters are encouraged to vote in the towns they are registered to do so,

Polling takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the following places:

Marion: The Benjamin Cushing Community Center (formerly the VFW hall), 465 Mill St. (Route 6)

Mattapoisett: Old Hammondtown School, 20 Shaw St.

Rochester: Rochester Senior Center, 67 Dexter Lane.
