Saturday, May 14

Spring Dog Walk

Sippican Lands Trust will host a spring dog walk at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14 at White Eagle and RadioTower Red Trail, Benson Brook Road. The walk will include a discussion of trail etiquette and dog safety on trails. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after.

Sip and paint 

Paint your own version of a sunflower and sample wines from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at the lawn of the Marion Art Center, 80 Pleasant St., Marion. Fee is $30 per person, which includes wine tasting and materials. For more information, visit marionartcenter.org. 

Jazz Jam 

Be part of the long tradition of the jazz jam session complete with participation from community musicians from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at the Marion Art Center, 80 Pleasant St., Marion. Wednesday, May 18 

Learn about ancient carving

Rochester resident Steve DiMarzo will present a program on the ancient carvings on area rocks that he has studied and documented at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 18. The program will be at the Rochester Historical Museum, 355 County Road.
