MARION — Join the Sippican Woman’s Club for a meeting and tour of the New Bedford Glass Museum at the Wamsutta Club, 427 County Street, New Bedford, on Friday, Nov. 10. 

Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and during dessert a business meeting will be held, according to the press release. New Bedford Glass Museum President and Director Kirk Nelson will lead a tour through the museum at 1 p.m.

According to a Sippican Woman’s Club press release, “during the Victorian Era, New Bedford was renowned as the ‘Art Glass Headquarters of the Country.’ The Museum houses over 7,000 examples of glass.”
