The Marion Fire Department would like to remind all residents of the regulations on Open Air Burning Permits. To obtain a permit you must come to the Fire Station located at 50 Spring St. during normal business hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays). Once you have a permit you must call in each day after 9:30 a.m. to get permission to burn (508-748-3508). The state determines the criteria depending on weather conditions.
