Tri-County Symphonic Band kicking off 50th concert season

The Tri-County Symphonic Band, a community-based musical organization comprised of professional, semi-professional, talented amateur and talented student musicians, is kicking off it's 50th season Sunday, Oct. 30.

At 3 p.m., in the Fireman Performing Arts Center at Tabor Academy, founder and Music Director Emeritus, John R. Pandolfi, and will help recreate the band's first concert. Special guest clarinet soloist is Sarah Purdy, a former Tri-County Music Association Summer Study Grant recipient.

Tickets are $10 (students are $5, children 12 and under are free). Tickets are available at the Bookstall in Marion, The Symphony Music Shop in Dartmouth, and http://www.tricountysymphonicband.org/.

Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door.
