MARION — A number of happenings are taking place through the Elizabeth Taber Library now through mid-October.

On Tuesday, Oct. 6, the library will have a pop-up library at the Benjamin D. Cushing Community Center from 4 to 5 p.m. Patrons can check out books, get more information about library services and meet staff. Social distancing is a must and masks are required.

Starting in October, patrons can participate in virtual story times on the library’s website (elizabethtaberlibrary.org) and on its Facebook page. Stories for children ages 3 to 5 will be read on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., and tales for twos will be on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
