Upcoming events at the Elizabeth Taber Library
MARION — There are several events to look forward to at the Elizabeth Taber Library, located at 8 Spring Street.
Through the looking glass
Kim Savoie will be going to the Elizabeth Taber Library to host glass working programs.
These programs will take place on Saturday Aug. 2 at 12:30 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 9 from 12 to 1 p.m.
There are limited spots available, so please call the Library to register for this free program, for ages 10+.
A stuffy sleepover
Stuffed animals better back their pajamas and a pillow to prepare for a sleepover at the Elizabeth Taber Library.
Kids of all ages are invited to drop a stuffed animal off at the Library before 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7 and then pick them up after 12 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8.
Participants will be able to read all about their stuffed animal’s adventures and receive a special picture of their stuffie.
A summery storytime
Get in the summer spirit with Campout Storytime. This program is on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 6:30 p.m. Bring a blanket or towel to sit on the library lawn and listen to camping-themed stories, explore a tent, and even make s’mores.
This program is recommended for kids ages 0-5 and their adults.
An end of summer par-tee
Celebrate the end of summer reading with Mini Golf from One Up Games. This program will be on Friday, Aug. 15 between 3 p.m. and 6.
Rain or shine participants can come play 9 holes of glowing golf at the library.
