ROCHESTER — The Council on Aging in Rochester has a variety of activities scheduled for December, including a restaurant trip and a holiday party.

To kick off the remaining holiday trips in December, the COA is hosting a trip to the LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro on Dec. 18. The van will depart at 8:30 a.m. and return at 5:00 p.m.

Looking to get some last minute holiday shopping done? On Thursday, Dec. 20, there will be a trip to the Providence Place Mall for shopping and lunch. The trip sets off at 8:30 a.m. and returns at 5:00 p.m.

To participate in one of the holiday trips, sign up in advance by calling or visiting the Senior Center. Securing a spot also requires a $5 donation.

This year’s annual Holiday Luncheon and Party will take place on Friday, December 14 beginning at noon. To take part in the festivities, reserve a spot with the COA for the complimentary meal.

Start the new year off right by attending the COA’s New Year’s eve party on Monday, Dec. 31 from noon to 2:00 p.m. There is also a request for a $5 donation at the event.
