Voting is today in Marion's town election

Voting takes place today in Marion’s town election. Polling occurs at the Benjamin Cushing Veterans of Foreign Wars Post on Route 6, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.  There are contested races for seats on the Planning Board, School Committee and Board of Selectmen.

Four candidates are seeking three open seats on the Planning Board. They are Robert Lane, Eileen Marum, incumbent Ted North and Michael Popitz. The School Committee race features two open seats and three candidates, Kate Houdelette and incumbents Michelle Oullette and Christine Winters.

Incumbent Steve Cushing and challenger Dale Jones are vying for one open seat on the Board of Selectmen. To read more about the candidates, click on the links below.
