The Classic Film series sponsored by the Sippican Historical Society and the Marion Council on Aging continues with the showing of “A Streetcar Named Desire” on Friday, Feb. 8, at the Marion Music Hall at 7 p.m.

In the film, a pretentious and overbearing sister, Blanche Dubois moves in with lower class sister Stella and her very unpolished husband Stanley. Tensions quickly arise on all fronts.

Arrive early and listen to music provided by Truman Terrell on the piano and Bob Sanderson on clarinet, with vocals by Michele Richardson. David Pierce will offer comments at the movie’s conclusion.
