Sippican Week is jumping out of the “Soup” and into . . . Today.

SippicanVillageSoup.com is now SippicanWeekToday.com -- with a new look, new name and new features.

Some things haven’t changed. News and features are all in roughly the same places on our home page. All of the stories and photos from Sippican Week’s first 7+ years have been moved onto this new site. If you are currently receiving daily headlines and breaking news alerts, you should continue to receive them.

What’s new? A wider display on computer screens and more useful display on mobile devices. Larger display of photos and improved photo galleries A much improved online calendar. Easier to read, more modern type.

Plans for the website changes have been in the works for months. There have been meetings, long to-do lists, lots of conversation and tons of hard work by the entire staff. Thank you all!!

As with any major project or change, there will be a few glitches as we tune the new site. Please bear with us. And let us know what you think!
