We're looking for the next generation

Wanted: Students to help Sippican Week -- in any one of many ways.

We aim to constantly provide news about people, events and issues in Marion, Mattapoisett and Rochester. That’s local people of all ages. Events of interest to everyone from toddlers to regulars at the senior centers. And the range of issues that people of all ages in the Tri-Town care about, talk about, and have opinions about.

And we need to present it in ways that will have us read and appreciated by pretty much everyone in town.

Those who work for Sippican Week range from recent college graduates to senior citizens. Notice which age group we’re missing?

So we’re asking for some student help. Want to try your hand at writing a news story about something in your school or town? Write an opinion piece? (Check out Old Rochester student Miah Motta’s offering on Page 8.) Send us a video or photos? Or send us your ideas about what you think we could do to get you and your friends as eager to pick up a Sippican Week or go to SippicanWeekToday.com as your older relatives and neighbors are?
