When it comes to summer reading, it's all fun and games

Mattapoisett Library held a kick off for its summer reading program on Thursday afternoon, giving kids the chance to sign up, play games on the lawn of the Mattapoisett Congregational Church, have their faces painted and more.
This year, the summer reading program has a sporty theme with the motto "On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!"
There's still time to sign up, and a full summer of events is already planned. Visit or contact the library for more information.
