Just before 9 a.m. this morning a tree came down on North Street, damaging electrical equipment, according to Rhiannon D'Angelo from Eversource.

Eversource crews arrived shortly to make repairs and set a new pole.

About 250 people were without power until it was restored at about 2:30 p.m.

D'Angelo attributed the fallen tree and subsequent power outage to the strong winds affecting the area today.
